Important ECDIS notice
From January 2014 regulations for protecting ENCs changes and all ECDIS in use must be able to work with the new S-63 1.1 standard.
This means that from the end of December 2013, the permit file version number will change and all ECDIS users must use a new certificate file (IHO.CRT instead of PRIMAR.CRT) to authenticate ENC data. In some cases an upgrade of software may be necessary.
If you have installed the software on the ECDIS models mentioned below you automatically comply with the new S-63 1.1 standard. Legacy JRC ECDIS models not listed will not support the new S-63 1.1 standard.
