The new JRC JMR-5400 series Black Box Radar
The new JRC JMR-5400 radar series combines high performance with a simple and user friendly design.
The radar significantly improves short range detection and discrimination of targets presented on high brightness displays with intuitive icon-based operation.
The system is running on the latest JRC-designed signal processing technology, allowing radar images to run faster and more efficiently than ever before.
With the fast processor and possibility to connect 19" and 26" displays, the JMR-5400 meets the newest IMO radar standards and has the MED certification as a CAT2 radar for vessels up to 10.000 GT.
Upgrade JMA-5200 and JMA-5300 models
The JMR-5400 comes in a desktop version and is highly suitable to upgrade JMA-5200 amd JMA-5300 models onboard existing vessels. The JMR-5400 supports X-band and S-band scanners, in magnetron or solid state version.
Charts
The JMR-5400 supports C-MAP MAX and new pec charts. The radar exho is displayed on the chart and the scale is automatically adjusted to the radar range. Naturally, own ship's track, TT and AIS tracking and planned route are also available on screen Full mapping facility of the chart plotter funtion is optionally available through a separately sold license.
